FACTS REGARDING SHELTER SLOPES:
Low peak: 102 degree slope. 2.5" rise per foot
Medium peak: 110 degree slope. 4" rise per foot
High peak: 120 degree slope. 7" rise per foot
Size of connectors refers to the size of the pipe used... not the inner diameter of the connector. MORE ON PIPE SIZE .
• 1" Connectors: For use with 1" EMT Electrical Conduit
• 1 3/8" Connectors: For use with 1 3/8" chain link Top Rail Fencing
CONNECTOR SIZE-
Pipe outside diameters are typically larger than the pipe order size since pipe is ordered by inner diameter. In order for the connectors to fit properly, the inner diameter of the connector is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the pipe. (see table below)
INNER DIAMETER OF CONNECTO OUTER DIAMETER OF PIPE
3/4" Connectors: For use with 3/4" EMT Electrical Conduit 1 inch 15/16 inch
1" Connectors: For use with 1" EMT Electrical Conduit 1 3/16 inch 1 1/8 inch
1 3/8" Connectors: For use with chain link Top Rail Fence 1 3/8 inch 1 5/16 inch

Q: Can I return any connectors or tarps I don't need?
A: NO All sales are final so please try to make sure of what you need before ordering.
Q: How do I decide what size tarp I need?
A: If you have an existing frame, measure from the eave pole, across the top to the other side eave pole. If that measurement is . 10', you need a cut size10' wide tarp which will actually be a finished size of appx 9'7" allowing room for ball bungees. And measre the length & if that is 20' you will need a cut size 19' 7" ( 10 x 20 ) Tarp
Q: I would like a price list of your products.
A: We would be glad to e-mail you a copy off our price list if you give us your e-mail address
Q: Why should I use bungees?
A: Bungees act as a shock absorber for your tarps.... the little vibration that the wind creates and the stretching and shrinking from temperature variations are very hard on tarps. If they aren't attached with bungees to compensate for these Damage could ocur.
Q: How many bungees do I need?
A: To determine the number of bungees you will need using our tarps with appx. 18" grommets. (For a 10 x 20 tarp, add all 4 sides 10 + 20 + 10 + 20 = 60 x's 12 divided by 18 = 40 bungees
Q: We live in an area with snow... Will the shelters hold up?
A: Temporary canopy shelters are not designed for heavy snow load... keep in mind that they are constructed using tarps and tarps will sag and collect water under snow load. Many people use a closer support spacing and high peak connectors for areas where there is snow to create a sturdier shelter.... even at that they are advised to remove any snow load if they get it and we are not recommending these portable shelters for snow areas! For SNOW LOAD WE RECOMMEND A WINTER SHELTER
Q: Why is water pooling on top of my tarp shelter??
A: Tarps MUST be bungeed inside the framework of your shelter. Any place a tarp touches a horizontal pole, it creates a dam even though it's just barely touching. or your bungees could be streched out & letting the tarp sag & collect water.
